As part of our commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our community, the VoyceToken team spent much of 2024 evaluating strategic opportunities for the future of VoyceToken. After thorough research, we chose (along with the community through a public poll) to transfer our liquidity to the Tune.FM platform. This move is one that is expected to greatly benefit all holders, especially with the anticipated rise in the price of JAM due to recent significant investments in the platform.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to each of you for making the decision to swap to Tune.fm as of Oct 30th 2024. By joining us on this new platform, you’re not only supporting our growth but also helping us continue the important charitable mission we began with VoyceToken. What is Tune.FM?
Tune.FM is a decentralized music streaming platform built on the Hedera Hashgraph blockchain.
It focuses on enabling fair compensation for artists by using its native cryptocurrency, JAM tokens. Unlike traditional streaming platforms like Spotify, Tune.FM pays artists significantly more, with rates reaching up to one cent per minute of streaming, which can be as much as 100 times higher than what Spotify offers per stream. This is made possible through a system of micropayments that occur instantly between artists and listeners.
Tune.FM also includes an integrated NFT marketplace, allowing artists to sell music collectibles and further engage with their fanbase. Fans can earn JAM tokens by listening to promoted music, creating a play-to-earn dynamic that encourages music discovery. The platform emphasizes global accessibility, offering low-cost and fast transactions while bypassing traditional intermediaries, thus empowering artists with more control over their revenue.
